Following the controversy surrounding the Santosham South Indian Film Awards 2023 in Goa. Where Sandalwood celebrities reported instances of insult and humiliation, Allu Aravind, the head of Geetha Arts, addressed the situation involving Suresh Kondeti.
Aravind clarified that the event, organized by Suresh Kondeti, is a private affair and isn’t associated with the Telugu film industry. He distanced the Mega family from Kondeti, emphasizing that Kondeti’s personal lapses in event organization shouldn’t be generalized to the entire Telugu film industry.
He urged Kannada film celebrities and media not to make sweeping judgments based on this particular incident, stating, “That awards event is a private affair. It’s unrelated to the Telugu film industry.” Aravind also questioned the representation of Kondeti as an official PRO of Chiranjeevi, asking, “Where did we ever claim he held such a position?”
