Icon Star Allu Arjun has expressed deep sorrow over the recent landslide tragedy in Wayanad, Kerala. He has announced a contribution of ₹25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid in the rehabilitation efforts.
Expressing solidarity with the people of Kerala, the pan-Indian hero stated, “I am deeply saddened by the recent landslide in Wayanad. Kerala has always given me so much love, and I want to do my bit by contribution ₹25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund to support the rehabilitation work. Praying for your safety and strength.”
This is not the first time Allu Arjun has stepped forward to support Kerala. In 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, he contributed a substantial amount of ₹1.25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala.
His generous gesture has been widely appreciated. Malayalis, for years, have lovingly embraced him. Bunny is fondly called Mallu Arjun in Kerala.
A sum of Rs 25 lakhs was donated by Bunny for the AP HUD HUD Cyclone, 2018 Kerala Floods, 2015 Chennai Rains, 2018 Titli Cyclone, and 2021 AP Floods. For the 2013 Uttarakhand Floods and 2019 Kalyana Mandapam incident in Palakollu, Rs 10 lakhs was provided by him. Additionally, the relief efforts for the 2018 Titli Cyclone included the establishment of 3 RO water plants and one borewell.
