Kiran Abbavaram, who gained popularity with his debut film ‘Raja Vaaru Raani Varu’, has been securing projects despite his films consistently failing at the box office. With the exception of ‘SR Kalyanamandapam’, his movies have not performed well commercially, yet he continues to release a new film every 3-4 months.
Recently, he released ‘Meter’ just over a month after the box office disaster of ‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’. Despite the lackluster performance of ‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’, Kiran Abbavaram has been touting it as a super hit, while ‘Meter’ is on track to become a colossal disaster, failing to even generate decent openings.
It has been reported that his next two projects have been cancelled due to the underwhelming performance of ‘Meter’. Despite his lack of commercial success, prominent production houses like Mythri Movie Makers and Bunny Vaas have chosen to collaborate with him, which is surprising considering he hasn’t delivered any big hits yet.
