Amaravathi: A petition has been filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court alleging that the ruling YSRCP MLAs are responsible for the spread of corona virus and increase in covid positive cases in the state.

High Court heard the petition filed by advocate Indraneel on Tuesday through video conferencing. High Court gave a shock to AP government and DGP asking them  to file a counter with in a week explaining what kind of action they have taken against those who flouted the lock down norms.

In the process, High Court even issued notices to five YSRCP MLAs. Those who received notices from High Court include Srikalahasti MLA Madhusudhan Reddy, Nagari MLA Roja, Nellore district Sulurpet MLA Kiliveti Sanjeevaiah, Palamaneru MLA Venkata Goud and Chilakaluripeta MLA Vidadala Rajini.

High Court made clear in no uncertain terms that no one should conduct mass gathering or call for public meetings flouting the National Disaster Management Act and Endemic Prevention Control Act. High Court questioned whether corona virus tests have been conducted for those five MLAs. Now all eyes are on all the five MLAs and what explanation they will give to the High Court for flouting the lock down norms.
