Popular Telugu singer and dubbing artist Sravana Bhargavi has landed in a big controversy because of her latest video song ‘Okapari’ that’s streaming on YouTube. Though the song is already a hit and getting a massive response, it has also stirred controversy.
The hindu devotees have been slamming Sravana Bharagavi for the wrong visualization of the song. Thousands of Hindus are raising objections against the singer and the song, Bharagavi responded to the controversy and hit back saying only when women singers release a song people have objections.
However, the singer is reluctant to apologize or delete the video and defended herself. She said, “The video has no obscenity. Nor does it demean the Annamayya song. Only when female singers release a video or audio album, some people raise objections and create controversy, but they turn a blind eye to the albums released by male singers.”
It remains to be seen whether both parties would pacify the issue or the controversy grows bigger.
