Tollywood editor Gautam Raju passes away

In a shocking news, Tollywood has lost the renowned editor Gautham Raju leaving the Telugu film industry tear-struck. The renowned editor has been suffering from kidney related issues for some time and was admitted in hospital. His mortal remains are at his residence in Mothinagar, Hyderabad. The last rites will happen this evening.

He was born on 15 January 1954 in Madras. Guatham Raju’s career in film editing started with Dekh Khabar Rakh Nazar in 1982 and since then he pioneered in editing and widely regarded as the finest editor the film industry. Gautham Raju has had almost 110 films in his kitty and has a shining career of more than 28 years.

He won the Nandi Award for the Best Editor for NTR’s Aadi in 2002. Gautham Raju worked for the latest films, Mohan Babu’s Son of India and Raamudu Anukoledu Jaanaki Kalaganaledu. Tollywood Celebrities expressed their shock and offered their condolences.
