Fans celebrated NTR’s birthday in a never seen manner and throughout the day, speculation increased whether or not NTR will think of reviving TDP which was formed by his grandfather, legendary personality Sr NTR.
This because not only fans and celebrities but also many TDP leaders wished NTR on his birthday. They shared their association with NTR. It is known that NTR campaigned for the party in 2009 but for some reason TDP and its chief Chandra Babu Naidu started sidelining him.
Many say Chandra Babu saw NTR as a threat to his son Lokesh’s political fortunes. Rumors also spread that NTR was moving closely with Jagan’s YSRCP. Though NTR rubbished all the rumors, Chandra Babu propped up Balakrishna and Lokesh against him and tormented him a lot even during his film releases.
Following the virtual wipeout of TDP in the last elections, demand for NTR to take over the reins and revive the party increased. A few years back when asked whether he would take charge of the party, he said he do not think about the page that did not come in his life.
His fans feel that the page has come now and this is the right time for NTR to enter politics and revive TDP. But NTR is currently having the best phase of his film career being on a hit spree and is set to reach new heights with his next, RRR a multi starrer with Ram Charan under the direction of Rajamouli.
