Police arrested Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy and former MP Mallu Ravi when they are on the way to meet and console the family members of those who passed away during the fire accident which happened at Srisailam Power Project.
Police stopped their vehicle when they reached Lattipur Pentrol Bunk at Uppunutala Mandal. Later they shifted Revanth and Mallu Ravi to Uppunutala police station.
Revanth Reddy speaking to scribes said ‘ Cops shouldn’t arrest us. They shoud arrest Minister Jagadeesh Reddy, GENCO CMD Prabhakara Rao who are responsible for the accident’
They demanded CBI investigation and also rs 1cr compensation to the family members of the deceased and government job from one person in the family. They requested permission to visit the Srisailam Power plant where the incident happened.
