Firebrand leader, Revanth Reddy who of late lost his firepower gave a shock to Telangana CM KCR’s son, IT Minister KTR. He filed a complaint with National Green Tribunal (NGT) alleging that KTR expanded his farmhouse flouting the environmental laws.
NGT after hearing the petition, ordered a probe to find out the irregularities in the farmhouse extension. While this came as a huge shock to CM KCR and his son KTR, Revanth Reddy and other Congressmen claim vindication of their stand.
In the midst of all this, KTR speaking to scribes revealed that he do not own any property or a farmhouse. He said he will be exploring legal action against Revanth Reddy and others. In the meantime, MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi came in support of KTR saying his political detractors are frustrated.
Revanth Reddy in his complaint alleged that KTR illegally constructed in the bio conservations zone in the catchment area of Osman Sagar lake. He said this will affect the water storage capacity of Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar lakes.
