Covid 19: CM Seeking approval for wave two lockdown!

The corona is booming terribly in the national capital, Delhi. Thousands of corona cases are being registered while hundreds of corona deaths are being registered every day. Corona cases are on the rise due to people not taking corona precautions during Diwali. With Delhi witnessing a fresh spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the Centre on Sunday announced a slew of steps, including making available 300 additional ICU beds, doubling the number of daily PCR tests and a house-to-house survey in the national capital.

At a time like this, CM Kejriwal thinks that imposing a lockdown again for a few days would be a blessing in saving the health of the people. He has already discussed the matter with the authorities. It is felt that there is a risk of further escalation of cases if the lock-down is not enforced for at least two weeks.

That is why they are appealing to the Centre to allow the implementation of lockdown again in Delhi as part of corona control. He said he had been preparing for the lockdown for a few days. At the same time, he addressed the people and appealed to them to wear masks and follow social distancing norms.
