Multi-talented actor Dhanush seems to be the first star from the South to resume shooting after the epidemic situation, which is not yet completely gone. Star Rang has resumed shooting for his Bollywood film ‘Ranjana’ with director Anand L Roy under the title ‘Atrangi Ray’.
Dhanush, Akshay Kumar, and Sara Ali Khan are in the lead roles in the Bollywood romance drama. The team has started shooting in Madurai for the film and the schedule is approximately 15 to 20 days. The film is scheduled to finish shooting by December, after which Dhanush will move on to his next project with Karthik Naren.
Dhanush reunites with director Anand L Roy seven years later in ‘Rankhana’. The film stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Dhanush and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in a pivotal role. The story ‘Atrangi Ray’ was written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by A.R. Rahman provided the music.
Dhanush will be making his third film in Bollywood after ‘Ram Hanaana’ and ‘Shamitab’, while ‘Atrangi Ray’ will be his second outing with director Anand L Roy. Dhanush and Akshay Kumar are said to be part of the resumption of shooting in Madurai. The team plans to continue shooting in the next Delhi, Delhi, and Mumbai with all security measures in mind. The entire team is excited to resume film shoot art.
