Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s stunning victory in the Assembly elections in Telangana has also catapulted him as the rallying force of non-Congress and non-BJP political parties in India.

R. Shailesh Reddy is the CEO of CEO, SoFTNET, Department of ITE & C, Government of Telangana. Shailesh is also a leading print & broadcast journalist, and political observer in Telangana. He has a Post-Graduate diploma in Journalism and Mass Communications from Osmania University. He has worked with Newstime, Eenadu Television, and Zee News Limited. Apart from Telugu, he has felicity in Hindi, Urdu, and English.

In an interview with TeluguRajyam.com, Shailesh diagnoses the reasons behind KCR’s victory in Telangana elections and the role he will be playing in the national politics and particularly in the General Elections 2019, and why the Mahakutami lost very badly in 2018.

Shailesh also foresees the role of KCR’s son KTR in Telangana and in TRS, and explains why KCR’s welfare schemes, especially for farmers, have struck a chord with the voters and the people of Telangana.
