Former minister Perni Nani has issued a stern warning to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Cautioning him about the potential consequences if he continues to use inflammatory language against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy. During a press conference, Nani urged the media to address Pawan’s claims that women and girls have gone missing in the state.
Nani referred to the previous Telugu Desam Party (TDP) administration and asked, “What happened to the 16,000 missing women during the TDP administration?” Not me, but the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), this data is sourced. Did Pawan ever question the previous TDP government?”
Furthermore, the Machilipatnam MLA delivered a direct warning to Pawan Kalyan, stating, “If Pawan crosses the line with his language, we are well-equipped to respond accordingly. Pawan should be aware that we can use the same language against him, and the rest is up to his imagination,” firmly stated Perni Nani.
Regarding the volunteer system, Nani dared both Pawan Kalyan and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to abolish it. He praised the efforts of volunteers in delivering government services directly to beneficiaries and accused Pawan of merely echoing Chandrababu Naidu’s script. As expected, Pawan’s comments on human trafficking of women have ignited a heated dialogue, and it appears that the situation is only going to escalate further.
