Yesteryear actress Sobhana who romanced Rajinikanth in Shiva, Dalapathi and Kochadaiyan speaking to scribes shared the shocking experience. Sobhana got the dream role to romance Rajinikanth in Shiva at the age of just 20 years. The film Shiva was directed by Amirjaan in the year 1989.
Rajini in the sets was seen in a pensive mood and in deep thoughts. He was supposed to touch the feet of the heroine in that particular scene. Rajini tried to convince the director and producer a lot to do away with the scene but Rajini was forced to do the scene
Sobhana at that time wondered why Rajini was reluctant to do that scene. Later from the second day of the film release, fans started abusing Sobhana using obscene language. Sobhana then realised the fan following of Rajinikanth.
