Vijay Deverakonda’s dream of Pan India’s success was shattered with the failure of the LIGER movie and the actor is getting busier with other projects. Vijay Deverakonda will soon resume the shooting of his romantic entertainer ‘Khushi’ featuring Samantha which is directed by Shiva Nirvana of ‘Majili fame.
As per the sources, Vijay was approached for a key role in Mohanlal’s upcoming period drama ‘Vrushaba’. It’s buzzed that Vijay was approached to play Mohanlal’s son in the movie and the actor is yet to give his nod.
Mohanlal is currently busy with multiple projects and this period drama is likely to go on floors in 2023. The movie will be shot in Malayalam and Telugu simultaneously and will have a theatrical release in 2024.
Apart from this movie, it’s also rumored that Vijay Deverakonda got an offer from Aryan Mukherjee to play the role of Dev in ‘Brahmastra’s part two and Vijay hasn’t given any confirmation. Long back, Vijay Deverakonda signed a movie with Sukumar and it’s rumored that the project got called off as Sukumar is planning to make a movie with Ram Charan after he wraps up Allu Arjun’s ‘Puspha’ sequel.
