SS Rajamouli, the name needs no introduction. He is the leading director in Indian cinema at the moment and even the biggest superstars are dying to work with him. During the initial days of his career, Rajmouli directed a sports drama Sye which is based on the Rugby game. The movie had Nithin and Genelia in the lead roles and Pradeep Rawat as the villain.
Not many know that Uday Kiran was the first choice for the hero role and not Nithin. But, Uday Kiran who was the leading star back then had to opt out due busy schedule. As he was doing back to back films, Uday Kiran could not adjust the dates to Rajamouli’s movie.
With Uday Kiran opting out, Rajamouli has decided to go ahead with Nithin who had a few similarities of Uday Kiran and the movie turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in Nithin’s career.
