Mallareddy University’s Annual Unity Day 2025, a grand event held every year, became even more special this time with the presence of film star Vijay Deverakonda as the Chief Guest. The event took place at the Mallareddy Cricket Ground in Suraram, with a large gathering of university students.
The occasion was graced by distinguished guests including Mallareddy University Founder and Chairman C.H. Mallareddy, Mallareddy Vishwavidyapeeth Chairman Dr. Bhadrareddy, Mallareddy Vishwavidyapeeth Vice Chairman Dr. C.H. Preethi Reddy, star actor Vijay Deverakonda, and popular actor Nithin .
During his speech, Vijay Deverakonda shared a heartfelt message with the students. He recalled how Mallareddy often mentioned his humble beginnings, selling milk and flowers, and his journey to success. He also expressed how Mallareddy University is one of the three universities in the country that the nation takes pride in. However, Deverakonda highlighted that the love and respect he receives from students is even more significant.
“Doing what you love brings true happiness. That’s why I always feel happy while shooting for movies, and if the film becomes a blockbuster, the joy is multiplied,” said Vijay Deverakonda.
Reflecting on his student days, he said, “Whenever I am with students, I feel immense enthusiasm. It reminds me of my own college days. Ten years ago, during the promotions of Evada Subrahmanyam, I toured many colleges and interacted with students. Those memories are still fresh.” He further emphasized, “Life is short, so live each moment with happiness.”
Vijay Deverakonda also shared three key principles for happiness: staying healthy, earning money, and doing what you love. He advised students to respect and care for their parents, stating, “When our parents are happy, we achieve true success.”
The event was also highlighted by an exceptional dance performance by Dr. C.H. Preethi Reddy, which left the audience mesmerized. Her performance added a cultural touch to the event, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
