Nani’s Tuck Jagadish directed by Shiva Nirvana started streaming on Amazon Video as Vinayaka Chiviti special. Let us see what Nani offered as Vinayaka Chavitit treat with Tuck Jagadish.
Bhudevipalem village is ridden with family feuds and politics between Tuck Jagadish (Nani)’s father Aadisesh Naidu (Nasser) and Veerendra (Daniel Balaji). Aadisesh’s Naidu’s demise changes the equations quickly and how it affected Tuck Jagadish’s family, his maradalu Chandra (Aishwarya Rajesh), VRO Gummadi Varalakshmi (Ritu Varma) forms Tuck Jagadish story.
Nani slipped into the role effortlessly. He came with various expressions and emotions and made an impact on the viewers. However, viewers feel they missed the fire of Nani. Ritu Varma is good in her role and Aishwarya Rajesh performed well in the emotional role. Jagapathi Babu as Nani’s brother, Daniel Balaji performed according to their roles. The rest of the cast like Rohini,Naresh,Rao Ramesh, Praveen did not get much screen presence.
Shiva Nirvana came with a routine story of family relations in the rural outset. The narration turned out to be slow and till the first half, nothing happens. The first half ends on an interesting note but the second half offers nothing new. There is nothing to rave about the story, screenplay, and direction.
Thaman’s music failed to impress and Gopi Sunder’s BGM is ok. Editing of Prawin Pudi could have been far better. Prasad Murella’s cinematography is good. Production values are good. If not for Nani,Tuck Jagadish would have tanked.
