After the controversial drug scam that shook the entire Telugu film industry a few years ago, now the Tollywood actors’ names are linked to the Casino scandal that busted recently. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been investigating illegal casinos and they found in the investigation that Madhava Reddy and Chikoti Praveen operated casinos in Goa. They have paid huge bucks to the celebrities to promote casinos in Nepal, Srilanka, and Thailand.
The ED found that Tollywood actresses promoted casinos and also took their gambling money overseas. More than ten Tollywood actors and also 16 MLAs were involved. The names of actresses like Ameesha Patel, Esha Rebba, Mumait Khan, and Dimple Hayati are linked and were found indulging in FEMA violations. According to sources Mallika Sherawat got Rs 1crs, Ganesh Acharya got Rs20 lakhs, Mumaith Khan got Rs 15 lakhs and Eesha Rebba got Rs 40 lakhs.
However, none of these actors are unavailable for comments and the latest reports say that the ED will disclose more names of the celebrities related to this casino scandal.
