Despite delivering a disappointing performance with his previous film “Ravanasura,” Ravi Teja is now set to make a comeback with “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” pinning all his hopes on this movie. The film, produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, known for blockbusters like “Karthikeya 2” and “The Kashmir Files,” promises to be a period action drama. Recently, the makers unveiled the film’s first-look poster and concept video during a grand launch event at the iconic Havelock Bridge in Rajahmundry, where they even hired a train for the occasion.
In the first look poster, Ravi Teja appears in a rugged avatar with a thick beard, exuding a ferocious tiger-like aura. He is depicted behind bars, adding to the intrigue of his character. Additionally, a concept video was released, introducing the world of “Tiger Nageswara Rao” with voiceovers by five different superstars in five different languages. Venkatesh, John Abraham, Shiva Rajkumar, Karthi, and Dulquer Salmaan provided the voiceovers for the Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions respectively.
The narrative unfolds in the 70s in Stuartpuram, a small village located in the coastal region of the Bay of Bengal. This village, known as the crime capital of South India, is nicknamed Tiger Zone or the zone of Nageswara Rao due to the fear it instills in people and even darkness itself. The dialogue, “You might have seen a tiger hunting a deer? But have you ever seen a tiger hunting a tiger?” spoken by Ravi Teja, hints at the ruthless nature of his character. Director Vamsee has chosen a strong script that has the potential to make a significant impact at the box office. With R. Madhie’s captivating visuals, grand production values, and the terrific background score by GV Prakash Kumar, the film transports the audience into the world of notorious criminals.
The first-look poster and concept video are expected to generate curiosity among audiences nationwide. Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj have been cast as the leading ladies opposite Ravi Teja in the movie. “Tiger Nageswara Rao” is scheduled to commence its box office run worldwide on October 20th.
