Singers turning heroines is a rare phenomenon in the film industry. However, a few of them like Mamata Mohan Das, and Shruthi Haasan has turned into actresses and attained success. As per the sources, the popular singer Mangli is all set to make her debut as a heroine in Pan Indian movie.
She will be seen as a heroine in a Pan India movie Paadaraya directed by Chakraborthy Chandrachud, the movie will have Nagashekar as the male lead. Official confirmation of bringing Mangli on board is expected to be out soon.
The movie is based on a real-life incident that happened in Ayodhya between 2013-2014. Paadaraya was launched on Hanuman Jayanti with a title teaser. Going by the director’s instruction, Nagashekar is temporarily camped at Anjandri Hills and is observing a strict fast for 42 days.
