At a time when the whole nation is bowled over by Shah Rukh Khan and his ‘Jawan’, the Bollywood superstar today put out a fab tweet in praise of our own Allu Arjun. The Icon Star came in for unreserved applause from SRK for portraying his part in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ with effortless swag. Days after Bunny was adjudged the Best Actor for his performance in the film by the jury of the 69th National Awards, it is as if SRK gave him another award today.
Earlier in the day, Bunny extended his “Biggg Congratulations” to the whole team of ‘Jawan’ for scoring a “mammoth blockbuster”. His tweet also talked about SRK’s “massiest avatar ever, charming the whole of India and beyond with his swag”. The pan-India star added that he was truly happy for SRK and that he had prayed for the film to become a blockbuster.
SRK was visibly touched by the glorious review of his performance in ‘Jawan’ by Bunny. He wrote, “Thank u so much my man. So kind of you for the love and prayers. And when it comes to swag and ‘The Fire’ himself praises me….wow…it has made my day!!! Feeling Jawan twice all over now!!! I must admit I must have learnt something from you as I had seen Pushpa thrice in three days!!! Big hug to u and will come and give u one personally as soon as possible. Keep swagging!!! Love u (sic).”
The line where SRK refers to Pushpa Raj’s ‘Fire’ punchline proves that he loved the mass vibes of the character. And SRK saying that he watched ‘Pushpa’ not once or twice but thrice over a period of three days alludes to the humongous popularity of Allu Arjun and his pan-India blockbuster.
Bunny’s fans are eagerly waiting for ‘Pushpa 2’ to hit the cinemas on August 15, 2024.
