RGV’s Daring Attack On Hyderabad Mayor

The outspoken and controversial director Ram Gopal Varma has once again stirred up controversy by launching a scathing attack on the Mayor of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Known for his no- holds-barred approach, RGV has criticized several high-profile individuals in the past, regardless of their popularity.

Recently, there has been a surge in public outrage over the increasing number of dog attacks in Hyderabad, which have resulted in several deaths, including that of a young child in the Amberpet area. Despite the severity of the issue, the ruling BRS party has dismissed it as a minor problem and blamed the opposition for exaggerating it.

The GHMC officials have also faced severe criticism from the High Court, yet the Mayor, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, made insensitive comments in response, implying that people were unfairly targeting her and blaming her for the dog attacks. This remark did not sit well with the public or the wider community.

In response, Ram Gopal Varma has released a song titled “Kukkala Mayor,” using strong language and insults to criticize the GHMC Mayor for her thoughtless and insensitive comments. The viral song has garnered widespread attention on social media, and it remains to be seen how the BRS leaders and Mayor Vijayalakshmi will respond to Varma’s attack.
