Salaar has amassed an impressive collection of around 310 crore net across India in multiple languages. Establishing itself as the highest-grossing film in Nizam/Andhra, trailing only behind S.S. Rajamouli’s movies. While it has crossed the 200 crore mark in Nizam/Andhra, it seems to fall slightly short of the initial anticipated figures. However, its Hindi version’s strong performance hints at Salaar potentially hitting the 400 crore net milestone in India.
Although Salaar’s earnings have been commendable, they are expected to be around 50% of KGF 2’s final business, indicating it may not reach the initially projected heights. Internationally, Salaar made an impressive $13.5 million within its first 10 days, contributing to a worldwide gross of approximately 475 crores, with 365 crores from India and 110 crores from overseas.
A notable achievement is Salaar’s dominance at the US box office over SRK’s Dunki, accumulating a substantial $8 million and possibly extending to $9 million. This positions Salaar among the top-grossing South Indian films in North America. Prabhas stands out with both Salaar and Baahubali 2, being the only hero with two out of the three South Indian films crossing the $8 million mark —an exceptional feat. Rajamouli’s RRR stands as the third Indian film to accomplish this milestone.
