Ram Pothineni who broke the ‘next boy door’ image with Puri Jagannadh’s iSmart Shankar is trying to establish himself as an action hero and tried his hand at action flicks like Red and most recently with The Warrior. Though Red was a decent hit, the latest movie The Warrior turned out into a disaster.
Directed by the action director N Linguswamy who directed blockbusters like Pandemkodi, the movie turned out into a massive flop. Age-old action sequences and the outdated story made the movie a disappointing tale and the audience rejected it outright.
With the movie turning into a debacle at the box office, the movie is all set for an OTT release. As per the sources, the movie will stream on Disney+Hotsar from 11th August 2022.
