Young actor Ram Pothineni has often been the subject of comparisons with Team India’s cricket sensation, Virat Kohli, owing to their strikingly similar height and facial features. These resemblances have sparked numerous discussions among fans and media. Particularly during the filming of ‘Ismart Shankar,’ Ram’s appearance garnered significant attention for its likeness to Virat Kohli, resulting in viral photos at the time.
Recently, as part of the promotional activities leading up to the release of his upcoming film ‘Skanda’ on September 28, Ram addressed these comparisons during an interview. He was asked if he would be interested in portraying Virat Kohli in a biopic.
Ram acknowledged the frequent comparisons and expressed his delight at being likened to the cricket superstar, Virat Kohli. He stated that he would enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to take on the role of Virat Kohli in a biographical film if such a project were to materialize, underscoring his genuine interest in such an endeavor.
It’s worth noting that there were recent rumors suggesting that Ram Charan was a top contender to portray Virat Kohli in a potential biopic. However, Ram Charan’s team clarified that the actor had no such intentions, as he is already occupied with his existing lineup of projects.
