Ram Charan Shares His Adorable Moment With Sr NTR

The year-long centenary celebrations of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) have been conducted by his family, the TDP party, and his devoted fans. As his birth anniversary approaches, grand events are being held to conclude the centenary year celebrations. Recently, an event took place in Vijayawada with Rajinikanth as the chief guest.

Yesterday, another magnificent event was held in Hyderabad, graced by prominent personalities from the film and political spheres, all gathered to pay tribute to NTR during his centenary celebrations. Ram Charan, the Tollywood star, also attended the event and shared a fascinating encounter he had with NTR.

During his speech, Ram Charan praised the greatness of NTR and how he brought pride to Telugu Cinema in other states and countries. He expressed his gratitude for being part of an industry where NTR had worked and achieved so much. Ram Charan also reminisced about his personal connection with NTR. He recounted an incident from his childhood when he met NTR for the first and only time. Ram Charan said,

“I had the opportunity to meet NTR Garu only once. When I was a child, Ritesh, the son of Purandhareswari Gari, and I used to attend skating classes together. We would finish our classes by early morning, around 5:30 or 6:00 AM. One day, Ritesh invited me to visit his grandfather’s house. At that time, NTR Garu was serving as the Chief Minister. So, we skated from Purandhareswari Gari’s house and reached NTR Garu’s house by 6:30 AM.

To our surprise, when we arrived, NTR Garu was already awake and ready. He was about to have his breakfast, and as everyone knows, even at that age, he would enjoy a hearty chicken piece. When he saw me, he insisted that I join him and offered me tiffin. I felt incredibly fortunate in that moment. The memories of sharing breakfast with him will always hold a special place in my heart. I am grateful to Purandhareswari Garu for giving me that opportunity. As long as the Telugu Film Industry exists, NTR Garu’s name will be remembered and revered.”

Ram Charan’s heartfelt words showcased his admiration for NTR and the impact he had on the Telugu film industry. The grand centenary celebrations served as a testament to NTR’s legacy and his everlasting influence.
