After the movie ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas starred in films like ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’, both of which had high expectations but suffered heavy losses. However, the recent movie ‘Adipurush’ has been a blockbuster, earning around 400 to 500 crores at the box office. Though it received massive revenue, it lacked substance at the ground level.
Trade reports suggest that there have been losses in terms of goodwill. Prabhas seems to be going through a phase of disappointment. He faced setbacks immediately after the release of ‘Saaho’. Despite being surrounded by a close circle; he hasn’t been able to regain his touch. It is said that the effect is visible in his current project, ‘Salaar’.
Presently, all hopes are pinned on ‘Salaar’. Any positive result or impact will help Prabhas overcome the current situation. However, there seems to be less enthusiasm regarding Prashanth Neel’s involvement in ‘Salaar’. We need to wait and see.
