Prabhas, the Pan-India superstar who shot to fame with Baahubali, is now eyeing global recognition. While his sci-fi project “Project K” was expected to be his ticket to Hollywood, it seems another film may beat it to the punch.
Prabhas’ upcoming movie “Salaar”, directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, is set to release in September this year. With its Pan-India appeal, the makers are now planning to release an English sub-titled version in the European and American markets, as well as select theaters in India.
While Hindi and Telugu versions with English subtitles are common, direct English versions like this can help expand the reach and audience base. If “Salaar” manages to impress Hollywood, Prabhas could join the likes of fellow Indian actors NTR and Ram Charan who achieved global fame with their recent film RRR.
With his massive fan following and successful track record, Prabhas is poised to take the global film industry by storm. It remains to be seen if “Salaar” will be the movie to make it happen.
