Pan India star Prabhas who is riding high after the success of Baahubali, is busy with multiple projects and the most anticipated among them is Prashant Neel’s Salaar. Apart from Salaar, Prabhas has Maruthi’s movie, Nag Ashwin’s Project K, and Om Raut’s Aadipurush.
Prabhas’s Aadipurush was supposed to have a theatrical release this January but was backed out after receiving a huge backlash for the poor VFX work and the team is reworking the same. Based on the great Indian epic Ramayana, Prabhas will be seen as Lord Rama in the movie while Saif Ali Khan will be seen as the demon king Ravana.
As per the latest reports, Prabhas who will be seen as Lord Rama in Aadipurush will be seen in the role of Ravana in Prashant Neel’s new movie Raavana, produced by Dil Raju. It’s heard that Prashant Neel is planning to showcase Prabhas in a never before seen role in the movie. However, it’s not clear whether the movie will be a mythological one or a contemporary movie.
In fact, Ravana is been hailed as the most powerful king, a genius, and an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. It’s because of his deeds, the is labeled as the cruelest demon king and got assassinated by Lord Rama.
