The director who teamed up with Samantha for the first time for Jabardast movie, has become a close friend to Samantha and shares a great bonding with her. They two teamed up again for Oh Baby, which was a decent hit.
Recently, in an interview, speaking about Samantha’s personal issues, Nandini Reddy said that Samantha and she became very close during the shooting of Jabardast when Samantha was going through health and personal issues. She said that though she’s very close to Samantha, she never tries to know her personal issues and tries to maintain the dignity.
There were several rumors after Samantha’s divorce to Naga Chaitanya that her girl gang Nandini Reddy, Shilpa Reddy, Chinmayi had influence on her decision to divorce. There were also rumors that her closeness with the designer and her bold role in Family Man web series is also one of the reasons for breaking up with Naga Chaitanya who was against it.
