Here’s yet another interesting news about Salaar. If rumours from the industry are to be believed, then Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been approached by Prashant Neel, to play a key role in the film.
Salaar is being made as a pan Indian film and the production house is trying to add value by roping in some of the best names in film industry. In one such attempt, it is being said that Mohanlal was approached for a role and it is said he was promised a remuneration of Rs 20 crore.
However, nothing is final as yet, though talks are on.
The role is said to be as important as that of the lead role and fans of Prabhas are already excited about seeing Prabhas and Mohanlal in one frame. Prabhas will be playing a general-turned-don in Salaar. The film will also mark Prabhas’ debut in Kannada.
Meanwhile, the makers of Salaar are also conducting auditions for new people, so they get a chance to act in the film.
Coming back to Mohanlal, while his role has not been disclosed in Salaar, he has some interesting flicks happening in Malayalam, which also includes Drishyam 2.
For now, it is still a rumour as Mohanlal is yet to react to the news.
