Nagarjuna is starring in a socio fantasy entertainer Bangarraju under the direction of Kalyan Krishna. The film is a sequel to the hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana. The film star Nagarjuna, Ramyakrishna, Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Shetty in the lead roles.
Meenakshi Dixit is playing the role of an apsara in the film. Speaking about it, Meenakshi Dixit said “I was thrilled,” She added “The last time I was in Hyderabad was in February 2020, and then the pandemic struck. Being on the film sets gave me a new high and boosted my confidence,”
She added “I carefully went through the designs and sketches the director gave me for my character. I had several costume trials and my designing team zeroed in on a few designs.”
Meenakshi says Wearing a large set of bangles, payal (anklets), necklace, Kamar bandh (waistband), finger rings, etc. was an experience I hadn’t had.” About Nagarjuna, she says “I was working with Nag Sir for the first time, and I was initially a little nervous about how to break the ice. But later I realised he’s very chatty. The ambience on the sets has given me hope that the industry is slowly coming out of the pandemic. However we have to continue following Covid protocols,”
