Malayalam actress Divya Prabha recently displayed courage by lodging an official complaint with the Kerala police. Regarding an unsettling incident that transpired on Air India Flight AI 681, traveling from Mumbai to Kochi on October 9. Divya Prabha took to her Instagram to reveal that she had been subjected to harassment by a fellow passenger during the flight.
Describing the individual in question as visibly intoxicated and consistently disruptive, she noted her attempts to seek assistance from the airline staff. Despite her efforts, the only action taken was her reseating just before takeoff, which, understandably, fell short of addressing the gravity of the situation.
After landing at Kochi airport, she brought the matter to the attention of airport and airline authorities, who then directed her to the police aid post at the airport.
In her quest to raise awareness about passenger safety and ensure such incidents don’t go unnoticed, Divya Prabha included her official complaint and ticket in her Instagram post. She also reached out to the public for support in her cause.
In her formal complaint, she provided a detailed account of the ordeal, explaining, “The incident involved a passenger seated in 12C, who, under the influence of alcohol, switched to 12B next to me (12A) and initiated an unwarranted argument, primarily concerning seat location (window or aisle). The individual’s misbehavior also involved inappropriate physical contact.”
