Actor Vinayakan, famous for his role in the film “Jailer,” was apprehended by Kerala police on Tuesday due to allegations of causing a disturbance while being intoxicated at a police station in Kochi.
The incident took place in the evening at the Ernakulam Town North police station, where authorities had summoned the actor in response to reports of disruptive behavior at his apartment. Subsequently, Vinayakan was arrested for creating a disturbance at the police station, as confirmed by a senior police official. It was revealed that the actor was under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for a mandatory medical examination.
Notably, Vinayakan had previously posted a video on social media that was considered disrespectful and insulting following the passing of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
