The central government has permitted the operation of movie theaters from October 15th and this should come as a big relief to filmmakers who have been patiently waiting for the past 6 months or so.
Two such Telugu films which are in pole position to hit the big screens at the earliest are Ram’s Red and Ravi Teja’s Krack. The makers of both these films persisted on theatrical release and their long wait might come to end sooner than later.
The producers of Red and Krack have already initiated talks with theater managements to figure out the possible release dates and other logistics. An official announcement on the release dates of both these films will be made once an agreement with theater managements is struck.
If things fall into place, we might have new Telugu releases as early as this Diwali.
