Casting couch is one of the most controversial aspects in the movie industry. Several actresses have opened up about the casting couch evil. Unlike the previous generation actresses who kept mum, the present generation actresses do not shy away from addressing the issue.
In Tollywood, actress Sri Reddy made some bold revelations about the casting couch in the Telugu film industry. Several actresses have opened up about their past experiences after that. Now, recently, the star heroine Keerthy Suresh who is a familiar face in Telugu with movies like Mahanati and Sarakaaruvaari Pata has opened up about the casting couch.
In a recent interview, Keerthy admits that there is a casting couch going on in the industry. She said, “Many of my co-stars have shared their experiences with me. But I have not experienced it till now. I have been very decent and straightforward all through my career, and maybe that’s why nobody approached me with such intentions.”
She adds, “In case some filmmaker asks me to commit myself to him to get a role in his film; I would prefer to reject the offer, no matter what. I would prefer to leave the film industry and do a regular job in a company that accepts such offers. I am not that type.”
On the work front, Keerthy Suresh is busy with Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie Bhola Shankar in which she plays the sister of Chiranjeevi. The movie is directed by Meher Ramesh.
