‘Kasinadhuni Viswanath Award’ To Honor Emerging Filmmakers From Annapurna College Of Film And Media

In homage to the esteemed legacy of Shri Kasinadhuni Viswanath garu. And in remembrance of his early ties with Shri Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu, Shri K Nagendranath garu son of Viswanath garu along with his siblings & family announce the prestigious annual award, Kasinadhuni Viswanath Award, for two students of Annapurna College of Film and Media with the aim to inspire young filmmakers to create impactful and meaningful cinema. It seeks to honour students who exhibit exceptional proficiency in the fields of Sound Design and Direction, reflecting the high standards set by these two industry luminaries. Each year, the award will carry a grant of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand in total) each for two students. The awards will be announced during the graduation film festival and presented during convocation ceremony.

Annapurna College of Film and Media was founded in 2011 by Sri Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Akkineni Family, with a vision to provide students with world-class facilities, faculty, and education. For over a decade now, the College has been at the forefront of film education, shaping the next generation of filmmakers.
