The absence of Jr NTR from the NTR Centenary celebration in Hyderabad has garnered more attention than the actual event itself. Reports stated that Jr NTR was unable to attend the event due to a pre-planned program scheduled for his own birthday, which coincided with the event on May 20th.
Sources indicate that unlike other members of the Nandamuri family who personally extended invitations over the phone, Balayya (Balakrishna) did not reach out to Jr NTR directly. The absence of a personal invitation from Balayya led Jr NTR to consider sending a video message to be played during the event. However, even this option was prevented by Balakrishna. It appears that Balakrishna and Jr NTR do not have a good relationship.
Balakrishna and Chandrababu (Chandrababu Naidu) reportedly held the belief that Jr NTR’s presence at the event would overshadow them and draw all the attention away. They wanted the focus of the event to be solely on Chandrababu Naidu.
Moreover, Balakrishna and Chandrababu were concerned that any encouragement given to Jr NTR could potentially pose a threat to Lokesh’s (Nara Lokesh) political future. Therefore, they succeeded in keeping Jr NTR away from the event by extending a lukewarm invitation and disregarding his potential involvement.
It is worth noting that these events have highlighted the strained relationship between Balakrishna and Jr NTR, and their absence from the celebration has generated significant interest and speculation.
