The trend of period movies is on the rise, and director Karuna Kumar, known for his acclaimed work in “Palasa 1978.” Has chosen to venture into another period drama for Mega Prince Varun Tej’s 14th movie. The film, titled “Matka,” is a Pan-Indian project produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner of Vyra Entertainments.
The grand launch of the movie took place with the presence of the entire team, as well as esteemed personalities from the film industry, including Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Niharika, and director Maruthi. The title poster has been officially released, and the movie’s music will be composed by the talented GV Prakash Kumar.
Set in the 1960s in Visakhapatnam, “Matka” promises to be an action-packed thriller, with Varun Tej in the lead role. Joining him on this exciting journey are Meenakshii Chaudhary as the female lead and Nora Fatehi in a significant role.
