It has become a common practice in various industries for highly popular actors to accept more project offers than they can realistically shoot. While some actors may return the advances, big producers often choose not to ask for the money back, aiming to maintain a good relationship with these prominent stars, even if the projects never come to fruition.
In the Tamil film industry, Dhanush, a well-known actor, is currently facing complaints from the Tamil Film Producers Association for not fulfilling his commitments to attend shoots. Thenandal Films has raised this issue against him.
In response, the Tamil Film Producers Association is planning to issue a red card to Dhanush and seek an explanation for his actions. However, it is evident that someone as influential as Dhanush cannot be easily influenced in this manner unless he had originally intended to work on the project.
As part of their stance against such practices, the Producers Union is planning to take action against 14 actors, including Dhanush, who are involved in similar situations.
