Sundeep Kishan’s Gully Rowdy directed by G.Nageshwar Reddy released today. Let us see how Gully Rowdy entertained viewers.

Vasu (Sundeep Kishan) is forcibly raised as Rowdy by his grandfather Simhachalam (Nagineedu)’s the close aide (Posani Krishna Murali). He starts loving Sahitya (Neha Hariraj Shetty), daughter of head constable Venkat Rao (Rajendra Prasad). Sahitya however doesn’t reciprocate but seeks his help to kidnap Biaragi Naidu who encroached on their land. But they will be in for a shock and how Ravi Nayak (Bobby Simha) is connected forms the rest of the story.

Director Nageshwar Reddy came with a routine and outdated story and the narration lacks freshness right from the start. Even comedy scenes though few evoked laughs turned out to be routine. Nageshwar Reddy failed with his story, screenplay, and direction.

Sundeep Kishan performed his role quite well. There is nothing new in it. Neha Shetty for all her looks got nothing to offer. Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, and others evoked few laughs. Bobby Simha is ok for his role. Viva Harsha and Posani are ok.

Chowrastha Ram and Sai Karthik’s music is ok and the background score is average. The cinematography of Sujatha Siddharth is good. Editing failed miserably.
