Genelia D’Souza, known for her roles in movies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Bommarillu, and Tera Naal Love Ho Gaya. Took a break from showbiz after marrying Riteish Deshmukh and becoming a devoted mother to their two sons, Riaan and Rahyl. However, she recently made a comeback with the romantic drama Ved, directed by Riteish himself.
In a recent interview on Kareena Kapoor’s talk show, Genelia addressed the speculation that her family had stopped her from working. She explained that she wanted to prioritize differently after marriage, but it wasn’t due to any pressure from Riteish or their family. Riteish added that their decisions are led by themselves and not by anyone else, despite the perception that their family has a significant political position.
Genelia and Riteish tied the knot in February 2012 and have worked together in several films. They will now star in the upcoming comedy- drama Mister Mummy, directed by Shaad Ali. The film tells the story of a couple with opposing views on having children and the twist of fate that intervenes in their plans.
