Film Nagar Cultural Centre (FNCC) President K.S. Rama Rao stated that festivals are part of our culture and tradition, and they are joyful celebrations that remind us of our heritage. Under the aegis of the Film Nagar Cultural Centre, the Dandiya and Bathukamma festivals were grandly organized. The program was inaugurated by lighting a lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, FNCC President K.S. Rama Rao said, “On the occasion of the Navaratri festival, youth enthusiastically participate in Suddula Bathukamma, the state festival of Telangana, and Dandiya, one of the most popular festivals in the country. That’s why we arranged both these celebrations for our members.”
FNCC Secretary Tummala Rangarao said, “All the members enthusiastically participate in the events organized at our Cultural Centre. That’s why we made elaborate arrangements for the Dandiya and Bathukamma festivals this time. We have also prepared special delicacies.”
FNCC Treasurer Shailaja said, “It was a spectacular sight to see women and children participating in these events and performing Dandiya and Bathukamma. We will frequently organize such celebrations at our Centre.”
The event was attended by FNCC President K.S. Rama Rao, Vice President S.N. Reddy, General Secretary Tummala Rangarao, Joint Secretary Sadashivareddy, Treasurer J. Shailaja, along with committee members Kaja Suryanarayana, K. Murali Mohan Rao, Edida Raja, S. Navakanth, Bhaskar Naidu, Balaraju, V.V. Gopalakrishnam Raju, C.H. Varaprasad Rao, and Koganti Bhavani. Media Committee Chairman Bhagiratha, Cultural Committee Chairman Suresh Kondeti, and members Padmaja, Shiva, and others also participated in the program.
