The much-awaited Malayalam film “I Am Game”, starring Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Nahas Hidayath, has officially begun filming following a traditional pooja ceremony held in Thiruvananthapuram. The film is being produced by Dulquer himself under the banner of Wayfarer Films. The pooja was attended by key cast members including Antony Varghese, and renowned Tamil filmmaker-actor Mysskin, who plays a major role in the film.
This marks Mysskin’s acting debut in Malayalam cinema. The screenplay for ‘I Am Game’ is written by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Abubacker, and Bilal Moidu, while the dialogues are penned by Aadharsh Sukumaran and Shahabas Rasheed. This film also holds significance as Dulquer’s 40th film and comes after Nahas Hidayath’s blockbuster directorial ‘RDX’. The announcement of Antony Varghese and Mysskin’s involvement in the film had already generated buzz in recent days.
The first schedule of the film is currently underway in Thiruvananthapuram. Touted to be Dulquer’s biggest Malayalam venture yet, the film is being mounted on a massive budget with a stellar ensemble cast and is expected to feature high-octane action sequences.
