National-award-winning superstar Dhanush’s landmark 50th movie Raayan is his second directorial venture. The movie produced by Sun Pictures also stars Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram in other lead roles. Interim, the film Raayan is done with its censor scrutiny and it received an A certificate from censor sleuths.
2:25 hours is the final runtime locked for the movie that will be high on action. The movie will see Dhanush in a bloody action avatar. The makers will up the game in promotions, as the film is slated for release in nearly a couple of weeks.
Aparna Balamurugan, SJ Surya, Selvaraghavan, and Dhushara Vijayan are the other prominent cast.
Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman scored the music and the first two songs were superhits. The camera was handled by Om Prakash. Prasanna GK takes care of editing, while Jacki is the production designer and Peter Hein is the action choreographer.
Raayan will be released worldwide on July 26th. Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP will release the Telugu version.
