The National Award-winning superstar Dhanush’s most awaited high-budget period film ‘Captain Miller’ directed by Arun Matheswaran is gearing up for its theatrical release. This period film is set against the backdrops of the 1930s-40s. The movie is presented by T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. The film is co-produced by G. Saravanan and Sai Siddharth.
The fresh update is that Captain Miller will be gracing the cinemas for the Pongal/Sankranthi in 2024. The makers made the news officially, through this poster where Dhanush can be seen in a ferocious avatar. Sporting shades with ponytail and beard, Dhanush appears in a never-before mass avatar in the poster.
Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, and Dr Shiva Rajkumar are the other prominent cast of the movie. Siddhartha Nuni handled the cinematography, while GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. T Ramalingam is the production designer.
Madhan Karky who worked for films like Baahubali franchise, RRR, and Pushpa has penned dialogues for the Tamil version of the movie. Nagooran takes care of editing.
‘Captain Miller’ will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
