Actress Rakul Preet Singh came to the industry without any film background and got recognition. Rakul, who said that she missed many opportunities in the beginning of her career, once again talked about Prabhas removing her from the film. In an interview given to English Media, Prabhas revealed that he has taken Kajal in his place in the film.
“I got an opportunity in a film opposite Prabhas. A schedule was also drawn. Then I was studying in Delhi. After completing the schedule, I went back to Delhi. After going there, I did not get a phone call for the second schedule for several days. Later I came to know that Kajal was taken in my place. They removed me from the film without giving me the minimum information. Prabhas-Kajal’s combination has already produced a film which has achieved good success. With this, the film crew thought that it would be good if the pair were repeated once again, so they removed me and took her. Film is a business. It is natural that this happens to girls who are new to the industry. This has happened to me many times. Even if one chance is lost, I think more than that will be waiting for us,” said Rakul.
In the past, Rakul revealed that she did not get opportunities due to nepotism. Losing film chances is a part of life. I don’t waste time thinking about what I don’t have. What I do I focus on personal growth. Others don’t get chances as easily as a star kid does. Rakul explained that all that is the difficulty of their parents. Rakulpreet Singh is currently acting in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ opposite Ajay Devgan. Anshul Sharma is directing this as a sequel to the successful ‘De De Pyaar De’. It will be released in March next year
