It is a proud moment for every Indian as Sirisha Bandla, an Indian-born girl, is going to board ‘VSS Unity’ of Virgin Galactic on July 11 from New Mexico. She has become the second Indian-born girl to travel to space and is also one of the six travelers to go to space.
Sirisha belongs to Guntur, Andhra Pradesh as she was born there and her upbringing was completely done in Houston, USA. She is the fourth Indian and second indian woman after Kalpana Chawla to go to space. Srisha showed her excitement saying, “I am so incredibly honored to be a part of the amazing crew of #Unity22, and to be a part of a company whose mission is to make space available to all.”
Sirisha has been inundated with love from all the places, also Mega Star Chiranjeevi praised and congratulated her posting, “Glorious feat for @SirishaBandla first Telugu girl to literally reach for the Stars!
