Megastar Chiranjeevi recently surprised everyone with a revelation about his health during the inauguration of a hospital. He shared that he had been diagnosed with non-cancerous polyps that had the potential to develop into cancer. Fortunately, early tests allowed him to detect them in time and receive appropriate treatment. Chiranjeevi emphasized that cancer can be cured if detected early and treated properly.
Speaking about his own experience, Chiranjeevi stated, “Some of my fans have suffered from cancer. It is important for everyone to be aware of it. Despite exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy diet, I never thought I would get any illness. But you can never assume that. During a recent colonoscopy at AIG hospital, polyps were discovered, which had the potential to turn into cancer if left untreated. I underwent surgery to have them removed. Thanks to awareness, I was able to prevent becoming a victim of cancer. Otherwise, I don’t know where I would be in the next few years.”
Chiranjeevi also emphasized that he is not afraid to share his experience and believes that cancer can be detected through genomic tests. He expressed his commitment to raising awareness about cancer and his aspiration for Hyderabad to become a center for eradicating the disease.
However, Chiranjeevi’s speech was misinterpreted by some, leading to reports stating that he had “suffered” from cancer and “survived” due to treatment. Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to clarify the misunderstanding, stating that these reports were not true. He ridiculed the scrolling ad articles and reassured his well-wishers about his health.
Chiranjeevi highlighted the importance of early medical tests and screenings in preventing cancer. He shared his personal experience to create awareness and dispel misconceptions surrounding his health status.
